Navy Ladies’ 9-Ball Contest – Day 2

Navy Ladies' 9-Ball Contest - Day 2This weekend turned out to be a truly interesting one for the ladies of Shenzhen, especially those in the Shekou area. Navy Billiards Bar just wrapped up their successful first Ladies 9-ball Contest last Saturday. The contest ran last Friday and Saturday and it was fierce and fun seeing really good female pool players on the tables.

The contest started with 20 ladies for the elimination rounds last Friday. The elimination/preliminary round ran with a best of 5 games. Ten ladies from the elimination round advanced to the finals last Saturday.

Finals night was even more exciting with the 10 ladies battling out for 9-ball supremacy. However, after intense competition, only 4 emerged champions. The top players for the night were awarded with great prizes from Navy.

1st Place – Coco (winner of 1000RMB vouchers and a Navy VIP Card) 2nd Place – Alana (winner of 500RMB vouchers and a Navy VIP Card) 3rd Place – a tie between Kathy and Angela (winner of Smirnoff Vodka bottles and a Navy VIP Card)

Congratulations to Navy and these wonderful ladies (Chinese and *Foreigner) who showcased their talents and made this last weekend in August a memorable one:

Sunny, Katherine, Alana, Rose, Erko, Xiao Yin, Ashley, Lisa, Jenny, Phoebe, Coco, *Marta, *Yulia, *Natalia, Stephanie, Annlie Lin, Angela, Weiwei and Hujia

Sports like this get more worthwhile in good company and atmosphere. Two nights seeing great female talent just shows Shenzhen is indeed a place that’s teeming with a lot more surprises!
