Sports Centers to Open Doors for Public Use
Shenzhen Bay Sports Center will be opening its doors to the public on September 10 with a concert by Taiwanese singer Tsai Chin. After the concert, the sports facilities at the stadium will be open for public use.
From September until December various concerts will be staged together with other activities at the stadium mostly by Taiwanese singers Tsai Chin and Jay Chou, and other performances to be sponsored by a Taiwan based company Rock Records Co. Ltd. In cooperation with Shenzhen Media Group. Auto fairs will also be held at the sports center.
Additional facilities such as basketball courts, tennis courts and football fields will be constructed around the neighboring areas as well. the Longgang Universiade Sports Center also followed suit by announcing its plans to open for public use.
The Square at the center can be used for free for morning and evening exercises, their tennis courts will be charging 10 yuan an hour for day use and 20 yuan for night use.
