World Cup Asian Qualifier Match in Shenzhen
Shenzhen will be hosting the 2014 World Cup Asian qualifier this October 11. The national soccer association said that China will be playing Iraq at the Shenzhen Stadium. Tickets for the match are selling for between 180 yuan to 1,500 yuan.
A warm-up match between China and the United Arab Emirates is scheduled for October 6 at the Universiade center. Tickets for the match will be sold between 80 to 380 yuan. VIP tickets will be sold at 2,011 yuan each.
Turf conditions in the two venues are good and qualify for international matches. Also, the location of both venues is convenient for soccer fans living in Hong Kong and Macao to watch the games in Shenzhen.
China belongs to Group A along with Iraq, Jordan and Singapore. China have beaten Singapore 2-1 but lost to Jordan 1-2 earlier this month. The Chinese team have four more group matches to play. The World Cup will be played in Brazil and complete match schedule will be announced in October.
