After reviewing several restaurants in August ‘Spice Circle’ in Shekou near sea world was voted as restaurant of the month. Spice circle serve the most delicious Indian food I have tasted in Shenzhen with all your favorites.
Local lawyer and food connoisseur Michael Sylvester was on hand to present the award and agreed after sampling Spice circle’s delicious food it had been a good choice.
Try from delights such as papri Chaat, home made crispy wafers with chickpeas glazed with tamarind sauce, mint sauce sprinkled with cumin seed powder, Spice Circle’s Tandoori Platter, assorted kebab platter of Fish Tikka, seekh kebab, Chicken tikka,Boti kebab & Tandoori chicken, Kurkure Papad, roasted Crispy flat lentils served with dips and our starters were finished with Cucumber Raita, grated cucumber and Yoghurt dip.
For main course how about Palak Paneer, spinach Puree cooked with cubes of cottage cheese or Adraki Gobhi Aloo, cauliflower and potatoes cooked with Indian condiments and fresh ginger. Handi Dhaniya Murgh, chicken cooked with Coriander served in clay pot.
My favourite the lamb Roganjosh, lamb cooked in onion & tomato base gravy – a specialty of Kashmir or a lamb Vindaloo, Cubes of lamb and potatoes cooked with extremely spicy hot Vindaloo sauce from Goa.
Well done Spice Circle and thanks to Michael and Kate for presenting the award.
