Wine Tasting Event with Australia’s Premier Wine Maker – Nick Haselgrove
Nick Haselgrove was in town for a second time after his successful stints promoting his wines for Aulon in Shenzhen and Dongguan in July. This time the venue was Atmosphere Bar at Peninsula in Shekou and it was the local X-Pat community getting the chance to sample Australia’s finest. Nick and Marcus provided a variety of wines including the award winning Black Billy and Top of The Hill wines.
Black Billy’s awards are as follows – – Judges Trophy for the Best Grenache & Blends at the South Australian Wine of the Year Awards 2011 – Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong House Wine CHAMPION Award for Blackbilly GSM 2009 – Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong House Wine GOLD Award for both the Blackbilly GSM 2009 and Blackbilly Chardonnay 2007 NICK HASELGROVE, James Haselgrove’s son a third generation winemaker, is a graduate of the famous Roseworthy Agricultural College with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology. He has over 18 vintages of experience in Australia and Internationally along with significant business and corporate experience.
