Pingshan New Zone to start construction of additional roads

Pingshan New Zone to start construction of additional roads330 new roads at a cost of 25 billion yuan is part of large infrastructure projects that are set to be constructed in the Pingshan New Zone just east of the city. since the new zone was established Pingshan have been pushing for the improvement of infrastructure in hopes in becoming an ideal living space and a economic engine in the city.

Some of the roads are already been constructed and the new zone government is pushing up construction of other major infrastructure which includes the Pingshan-Yantian Passage, the Shenzhen East Railway Station, third phase of the Nanping Expressway and a 6 billion yuan river regulation and drainage system project. The new zone is also building more schools, hotels, hospitals, government subsidized apartments and shopping centers. The zone also recently completed the construction of a nine year compulsory education school and kindergartens.

The additional school and kindergarten added 6,000 more seats, the number of hospital beds to 200 and the 15,000 government subsidized apartments have already started.  A number of hotels have already opened and well known retailers are setting their eyes on opening branches in the new zone.

135 more major projects is planned for Pingshan new zone, work on 19 projects started in June are already on the way while 29 more projects will be started or have been finished.
