Residents Asked to Use Public Transportation During Hi-Tech Fair
Residents are encouraged to take public transportation to this year’s China Hi-Tech Fair at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from November 16 to 21. This will be first time Shenzhen traffic police cancel parking for private cars in areas around the exhibition center.
This time only official vehicles are allowed to park in the restricted areas during the fair. There are only 2,000 parking spots available around the exhibition center and the fair is expecting around 10,000 dignitaries, foreign guests and exhibitors will be using the parking spaces. Meanwhile, traffic police informed residents that there will be no restrictions to be imposed on roads surrounding the exhibition center.
Vehicles are not allowed on Binhe, Fuhua No. 3 and No. 1, Fuhua, Jintian and Yitian roads and drivers that are caught parking in these areas will be fined. Visitors can take Metro lines 1 and 4 that will take them to the Convention and Exhibition Center station and the Shopping Park (Coco Park) station.
