More Companies to Invest in Technology During Hi-Tech Fair
More companies are investing in technology and are placing exhibits at this year’s Hi-Tech Fair. The ComNet exhibition area, which is sponsored by the International Data Group was increased to 30,000 square meters with the number of exhibitors in this area increasing by 90 percent compared to the 30 percent increase last year.
Founder and chairman of IDG said that ComNet has grown ten times in ten years, showing the enthusiasm and confidence of exhibitors in the Chinese market. He also said that this year’s fair will be the world’s largest information technology fair surpassing fairs in Taipei and Hanover, Germany. People from different parts of the world come and see the latest IT products that are offered in the Chinese Market where purchases of IT products have increased 16 percent.
In this year’s fair, IDG increased their investment by 25 percent in hopes of getting more cooperation and investment from Shenzhen-based Internet companies . IDG sees a future investing in China’s cultural industry as it is a pillar industry for development. The United States invests in movie companies, while China invests in both the content and technological innovations of movie projects, which include transforming great Chinese movies into 3D movies.
