QSI Middle School Students Visit Fusion Fitness

Last Friday, November 11, Fusion Fitness had the pleasure of hosting 80 of QSI’s middle school students for a few hours of Fitness, Martial Arts, Yoga and Fun!

The students were divided into three groups, some to learn about the benefits of fitness and healthy lifestyle with professional trainers John Graham and Josh Philips. The kids were able to use some of the unique exercise tools that the gym offers under the expert supervision of Fusion’s staff and their wonderful teachers.

The kids were also taken through an introduction to martial arts and Judo by masters Mike Horne and Donald Chang. Not only did they have the pleasure of seeing Donald take Mike to the ground but were also taught some basic self defense maneuvers themselves.

The rest of the middle schoolers were taken through the basics of yoga, with Alan Burgess,  learning the value of a healthy body and mind.

Fusion would like to thank QSI for choosing to come to our facility, the fantastic teachers for all of their help and the students for being such wonderful sports! We hope to see you again very soon.
