The Autumn Fair
My favorite school event to attend every year is the Autumn Fair. It’s the time of the year where you can dress as crazy as you want, and nobody will judge you. It’s the time of the year where you can enjoy the spirit of Halloween among the people in your school and family. It’s also the time of the year when you can experience some of the wackiest moments of your life.
The Autumn Fair will be arriving soon, and everyone is excited. Many people like Halloween, and so do I. Being in the Autumn Fair makes you feel like you’ve entered a world with creativity. Workers and volunteers have worked hard on the spooky Halloween decoration. Students helped serve food. The Security makes sure that no one passes out because of the exciting presence of Halloween.
Games are fun. One of the most memorable ones is the haunted house on the fifth floor. It is where a tour guide will lead you through the haunted house, and make sure you stay alive. Other games are there too. Tossing wet sponges at a teacher, bouncing and doing back flips in a bouncy castle, shooting hoops, throwing baseballs at a can tower and so on. There are games for young children and others for older children too. People also enjoyed the reputation of great food and drinks provided by families and other people. It is a delightful opportunity to bring food and share it with others. Last year, people served drinks, and there were hot dogs, chicken, and other food.
People bought punch cards, games cost 1 or 2 punches, while the food cost 2 punches or higher. The Autumn Fair was held on October 29th, two days before Halloween. Autumn Leaves hung from the roof, fake spiders and spider webs were decorating the stair case, people in costumes rushed here and there. You see a incredible vision of all the great people the school has. You will be surprised by them.
Besides games, activities and food, it’s also a time where you can see a lot of great people. Everybody expressing themselves, and not afraid to show who they are. I love the Autumn Fair, and so do a lot of other people!
