New Test Driving Track Opened in Guangming New Zone
The Wusen Driving and Test Field for learner drivers was opened in Guangming New Zone as reported by the Shenzhen Drivers Training Industry Association. The driving and test field is funded by a private investment.
The track can accommodate 800 drivers a day that will undergo driving tests and covers an area of 150,000 square meters with its first phase. Because of the limited land available for driving tests, a learning driver currently needs to wait months and even up to a year to take a road test. By June of this year there were already 330,000 new drivers waiting to take their drivers tests.
According to the director of the Freight Transport Bureau, they have been trying hard to find ways to solve the shortage of driving test fields, so far there are only three training and test fields in Shenzhen.
The Shenzhen Anshuntong Training Field that is funded jointly by three training schools has already passed all assessments done by the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department and is scheduled to open soon.
