Shenzhen’s Consumer Council Releases the City’s First Consumption Map
The Shenzhen Consumer Council said that the city has recently released its first consumption map that will help residents choose where to spend their money. The Chinese language map will use words and pictures that will help consumers in their decision making.
The map will offer recommendations of trustworthy consumption venues such as shopping malls, restaurants, supermarkets, electronic markets and entertainment venues. The map will also give guidance on how to find the places via the Metro or public buses.
According to the council, all the recommended venues on the map have excellent records and have garnered few or no complaints from consumers. The city market supervision bureau were responsible in making the map for consumers and have not accepted any donations or sponsorships from establishments or venues to ensure the map’s credibility. If one is not satisfied with the venues, the map also offers a detailed guidance that will help the consumer on where or how to complain.
The map can be obtained at most shopping malls and tourists attractions, it can also be read or downloaded for free by accessing the website www.szscjg.gov.cn.
