Works in Progress in Art
Students in the high school grade 9 & 10 art class are currently creating a personal painting that explores eight different traditional color schemes and harmonies, including the primary, secondary, tertiary, cool/warm, analogous, complementary and monochromatic colors. The image they’ve chosen addressed a personal icon of themselves. Not only have they taken on the task of color schemes, the students are learning to paint on various medias such as cardboard, canvas, and papers.
Please expect an awesome and deeply personal display of the twenty-nine high school artists’ self portraits and statements as you stroll along the high school floor this winter.
If you would like to see a display of MS and HS student art work please check out the Artsonia website for your child’s work. http://www.artsonia.com
