Huawei to Limit Business Dealings in Iran
Huawei Technologies (Shenzhen) is planning limit its push to create new business in Iran, after reports from a U.S. based watchdog said that authorities in Tehran are using their equipment to track dissidents.
Huawei will be dealing its business activities with existing customers and will be restricting any business development by freezing any new business development in Iran. Huawei has been in full compliance with all laws and regulations that are applicable including those imposed by the United Nations, United States and the European Union.
Huawei will now only be providing the necessary services for communications networks that already exist or have been delivered to Iran.
