Shenzhen Police to Host 7th Open Day
The Shenzhen police will be hosting their 7th open day on Sunday at their training school in Futian from 10 am to 4 pm. the open day showcases the works of Shenzhen special operatives in tactics such as hostage negotiations.
People visiting can also view works and trainings from the city’s rescue team and SWAT. Visitors will also get the chance to view a simulated fire rescue using helicopters, there will also be equestrian activities and the police band will be performing. The 100 million yuan helicopter that was bought in Italy and used during the Universiade games will also be displayed.
To entice residents to come and participate in the 7th police open day, sub venues will be placed in the front yard of the Shenzhen police headquarters, the Children’s Palace Square and other major police stations in the city. The city fire department is also staging a fire extinguishing competition and a fire drill, plus residents will get the chance to try the fire chute.
Visitors and residents are ask to use public transportation to reach the police school since parking at the venue is limited, visitor and residents are also reminded that they are not allowed to bring pets to the venue.
