Learning Chinese at PKU Shenzhen

Learning Chinese at PKU Shenzhen10 years ago, Peking University, China’s leading university, opened a Graduate School in Shenzhen. PKU Shenzhen aims at becoming a truly international university and is already welcoming students and professors from 18 different countries! The particularity of the school is, international students follow the same courses as Chinese students: business, finance, law, IT, chemistry, urban planning, social sciences, environment, etc.

The class is very interactive, in order to ensure that everyone studies regularly: in addition to the traditional classes, you will have the opportunity to download summaries of each lesson, do quizzes based on the courses, receive newsletters, do a language practicum and take part in informal discussions with native Chinese speakers over a cup of coffee! Welcome to our beautiful campus of Shenzhen University Town in Northern Nanshan, between Xili Reservoir, Shenzhen Wildlife Reserve and Tanglang Mountain.

In addition, PKU Shenzhen has opened a non-intensive Chinese Language program with three different levels: beginner (for those who never studied Chinese or up to a few weeks), mid-intermediate (if you already studied Chinese between 3 months and 1 year) and intermediate (corresponding to HSK level 4-5). Class size is between 5 and 10 people. The course focus on learning spoken Chinese. The classes are taught in the evening, to fit the schedule of our students who all study or work full-time.
