The MS E-Club Is At It Again!
We have been working together to learn about the conservation of energy and to raise awareness of how we, as individuals, can save our earth’s precious resources.
We are currently raising funds to put towards a biofuel unit for a farmer in Guizhou, China. Our most recent fund-raising project was the E-Club’s Cupcake Carousel at one of the school’s most exciting events of the year, the Winter Bazaar. It was a real hit.
Children and adults, young and old, bought undecorated cupcakes and topped them with frosting, candy and sprinkles. They looked delicious and they were devoured.
Thank you to all of the parents, teachers, and administrators who baked for the Cupcake Carousel. Without their support we would not have been able to make a profit for a worthwhile cause.
The E-Club has been busy this year. In October we were asked to participate in a unique way for the AMIS Boy’s Choir event. Members worked hard before the event to design a sticker, arrange goodie bags and bake muffins. More than 10 dedicated E-Club members came to school on Saturday morning to cater a snack for the AMIS boys. E-Club members who were involved learned about the importance of organization, efficiency, and having a positive attitude when dealing with so many people. Service Learning is a large part of the E-Club; it is truly the foundation of our group.
If you would like to support our group please consider buying a t-shirt. These hip black t-shirts have the E-Club logo on the front (designed by 2-year E-Club member Boung Jin Ko) and a very cool motto on the back.
If you would like an E-Club t-shirt please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. We have sizes XS to XXL.
