Museum Receives a Scroll Painting DonationAn 18 meter long scroll painting of Shenzhen cityscape was recently donated to the Shenzhen Museum. The artwork is painted using traditional Chinese painting method. Containing a panoramic view of Shenzhen from the Dapeng Peninsula and the Bao’an International Airport.

The painting includes more than 50 landmarks in Shenzhen with more than 2,000 people are included in the painting was well. Chinese scholar Rao Zongyi wrote the preface for the scroll. Shenzhen’s Museum curator Ye Yang, said that the scroll will be displayed to the public as soon as necessary checks are done.

Yang said that the painting is a great piece of art that captured the spirit of Shenzhen using traditional Chinese painting. The painting is done with the cooperation of Shenzhen Liyuan Cultural Industrial Development Co. and the Shenzhen University Institute for Cultural Industries.
