Produce Market Praised for Low Prices and Advanced Facilities
During an inspection made by residents yesterday the largest farm produce wholesale market in the city was given high praises for its low prices and advanced facilities. The Higreen Logistics Park occupies 300,000 square meters that is double the size of the Buji Farm Produce Wholesale Market.
The Higreen Logistics Park is located in Pinghu and has already taken over the functions of the Buji Farm Produce Wholesale Market that open in September 2011 with an investment of around 1.8 billion yuan. Upon entering the park, residents were amazed by the technology that the park has made to ensure that the park can provide proper information services to the customers.
The park have a 4 square meter LED screen that displays the farm produce information, including prices, product origin and trade volume. Another LED screen displays information about the Logistics Park. Aside from selling farm produce, Higreen also sell cheap farm produce to the low priced produce retail vans that are found around the city that sells farm produce 15 to 20 percent cheaper that produce found in markets.
