Hospital Management Center to Simplify Procedures and Increase Efficiency in Hospitals

Hospital Management Center to Simplify Procedures and Increase Efficiency in HospitalsIn a move to balance the development of public hospitals, to simplify procedures and increase management efficiency a hospital management center will be built that will introduce a unified management system.

Special finding will be created to help build new hospitals in the Longgang and Bao’an districts, and at the Guangming and Pingshan new zones. Seven new hospitals are already being planned to be placed in these areas. Private companies are encouraged to create medical organizations and preferential policies will be given to them such as tax cuts to help subsidizes the organizations.

Currently there re around 4 million permanent residents that are living in Bao’an district, but there are only 1.53 hospital beds for every 1,000 residents compared to Luohu, Futian, Yantian and Nanshan districts that has 3.42 beds for every 1,000 residents. Hospitals in Longgang districts also faces similar problems, the Pingdi Hospital had to build a temporary injection area in the hospital parking lot because of shortage in space in the hospital.

Suggestions were made that will allow the city to take measures to help hospitals in the Longgang and Bao’an districts. Large public hospitals in Luohu and Futian districts can form teams with the hospitals in Longgang and Bao’an districts and send medical experts that will assist with services on a regular basis.
