Wutong Mountain to Reopen Minibus ServicesSince the approval of the reopening of the minibus service at Wutong Mountain Scenic Area, by the Shenzhen transport commission. The park management will start using the 10 environmentally friendly buses starting February 9 after the Lantern Festival.

The park will be operating the minibuses from 7 am until 6 pm on weekdays and 6 an until l 7 pm on weekends and holidays. The minibus service will be collecting a 10 yuan fee for a single trip that will bring the rider from the main entrance of Wutong village to the parking lot of Haohanpo. Driver s are not allowed to pick up or drop off passengers along the way, since there is not enough buses to accommodate all the park visitors. Park management advises hikers to use alternative means of transportation and to give priority to children and senior citizens.

Since private cars were not allowed in the parks due to its uneven terrain, the park open the minibus service for visitors in 2007. but had to stop due to poor operation and management that gathered criticism from visitors.

The park gets around 3 to 4 million visitors every year, with a daily number of visitors reaching 4,000 during the weekend and increases during the weekends and holidays.
