Restaurant Review – Little India at Coastal City
Many of you have probably heard of or eaten at the nice Indian restaurant under Coco Park, Little India. Business has obviously been good because owner Pramod has opened his second branch at coastal city, Nanshan.
This restaurant is a little smaller than the one at Coco park but has that same authentic feel to it and the dishes are equally as delightful.
Awaken your taste-buds with your choice form the following dishes Chicken Masala,Chicken Vindaloo, Lamb Kofta Curry, Roganjosh,Chicken Biryani & Raita, Peshawari Pullao, Saffron Pullao, Garlic Naan, Kashmiri Naan, Onion Bhaji, Samosa, Chicken Tikka, Tandoori Chicken, Seekh kebab, Prawn Vidaloo Aloo Gobi, Palak Paneer, Daal Makhani and many more.
Prices are reasonable, starters from 15rmb, mains from 55rmb with desserts from 25rmb.
Pramod was a delightful host serving us in quick time and letting us try one of his hookah pipes on the house. Finally we were offered free shots of spiced rum to wash our food down, a nice touch and up their with the best service I have received in Shenzhen.
To get to Little India take the MTR to Coastal city (Houhai) and use exit E, when you exit turn around and look up to the outside, second floor of the poly cultural center and you will see Little India on the corner. For further help give them a call on 86552106.
