Fitness Centers sees Increase in Membership after the Spring Festival HolidaysA number of health clubs in Shenzhen are seeing a rapid increase in memberships as many city residents have put on weight during the Spring Festival holidays. Facilities such as badminton halls and indoor swimming pools are also popular places to shed the extra pounds say many residents.

Due to the increased traffic into badminton halls, residents are advised to at least reserve a few days in advance to guarantee a spot. Badminton players are also added tennis to their fitness plans since its also a great way to lose weight. Table tennis, dance and yoga studios are also catching the eyes of people wanting to lose weight.

One resident said that she gained almost 5 kilos during the holidays and had already entered a fitness program that will give her a slim body just before summer. Another resident said he joined a fitness club when after a health check showed that he had hyperlipidemia which is an increase of fatty lipids and cholesterol in the bloodstream.

Several websites are selling weight loss products online, there are at  least 3,000 items that will help you lose weight, but the two most important factors that will lead you to  successful weight loss is to burn excess calories through exercise and dieting.
