More Vocational Courses to be Offered to Overseas Students
Overseas students studying at the College of International Exchange of Shenzhen University will be participating more on the school’s social activities as part of the learning experience and part of their education. This will help them gain the proper experience with the companies in the city, and learn more about the Chinese culture and of Shenzhen.
The college will also help these overseas students to find work in Shenzhen after finishing their courses. And to help the students learn more on the Chinese culture, optional courses will be offered such as calligraphy, pottery art, traditional Chinese painting, tai chi and Chinese music will be introduced. Also the students will be invited to go on tours to the city’s high tech companies will be arranged. Then the students will be asked to write articles on their lives in Shenzhen.
Successful entrepreneurs will also be invited to speak and share experiences on how to start a business in Shenzhen. These students will also be invited by local TV stations and local newspaper to share ideas on how ways to develop the city.
The year’s semester have a total of 559 overseas students from 57 countries and regions registered at the college. Which is a 15 percent increase over the same period last year.
