Beer Review: Old No.38 Stout

Old No. 38 Stout

355ml – 5,5%

Old No. 38 Stout is a beer with character to say the least. The beer is named after a former California Western Railroad steam engine that used to ride the rails through the Redwoods between Fort Bragg and Willits.

Dark in appearance, roasted barley and dark malts give this firm yet smooth drinking stout the personality that you would expect to come along with a historic steam engine inspired beer. The beers’ trademark is a certain smokiness that can be tasted in the no. 38 Stout.

The Old No.38 Stout is without a doubt one of the most charismatic beers Shenzhen has to offer.

Find out what other beer lovers have to say about the Old No.38 Stout.
