All France Rugby au Japon
This ex-pat rugby club in Tokyo, of predominately French players with a smattering of other nationalities thrown in, will celebrate their 25th Anniversary with several days of festivities and events from March 28th-April 1st.
Established in 1987, La Lėgion Ėtrangėrė will commence their celebrations with a gala dinner at Le Petit Bedon on Wednesday March 28, 2012 in Tokyo with members of the French Rugby 7s team, including star player Jean Claude SKRELA, in town for the inaugural IRB 7s Tokyo round. The menu will include foie gras, cassoulet, French Cheese from Blue Bresse KK, 25th Anniversary chocolate cake, Macaron Laduree along with Kir, red and white wines in the drinks package.
On the weekend 34 old boys and flagship team players will be on the pitch to meet a Japanese OB selection and Shuto league selection in friendly rugby games commencing on Saturday morning 31st March 2012. Following this attendance at the IRB 7s capped off with a gathering at Black Lion Bar, the club house of the AFRC, for a nomihodai and tabehodai dinner with one aim: Making the longest PAQUITO of the season (girls and boys everyone welcome)!
Those still standing will attend the final day of the HSBC IRB Tokyo 7s.
