Folks from Time magazine did not forget the impact of the electric atmosphere of Jeremy Lin’s emergence in the world of NBA. According to the magazine’s estimation Lin is one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Lin came off the bench to play averaging 14.6 points and 6.1 assists per game, creating a number of highlights and the moniker Linsanity that saved the New York Knicks season. His remarkable story captured the attention of the public were his was undrafted out of the Ivy League and bounced back and forth to different teams before finally settled in New York.
Lin was also the cover of Time’s Asian February Edition, he is also the first NBA player to be placed on the list after Phoenix Suns Steve Nash was nominated for the top 100 influential people in 2006.
