City-Level Tourism Information Center Opens at OCT Bay

City-Level Tourism Information Center Opens at OCT BayThe city opened its first domestic city level tourist information center that will offer all the latest information about the city. The center is located at the OCT Bay in Nanshan and will offer self guided tours to Hong Kong, Macao and regional neighbors. And in addition to its information capability, the center will assist tourists in making their own travel routes and provides them with scenic spots and popular routes as well.

The center will also house offices set up by the city tourism administration along with travel agencies and bus services providers that will help tourists. Fast food restaurants and convenience stores are also located within the center. The tourism information center’s opening was also done during the second National Tourism Day wherein alliances between Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou were established.

Together these three cities will be integrating their tourism resources and further develop regional travel routes through exchanges and cooperation in management training of tourism enterprises. Tourism websites will link the three cities to create shared information.

Shenzhen has a large population of young travelers who prefer short distance travels during weekends and short holidays, thus solidifying a foundation of the development of regional tourism between the three cities.
