City to Make Plans to Improve Quality of Children Products
Considered as authorized third party quality inspectors, the academy has launched quality checks among manufacturers and sellers of children’s products around Shenzhen using stricter supervision since a recent check have shown that a percentage of student uniforms and clothing were containing excessive pH levels and unqualified dyes. Also an inspection of batches of local children’s toys has also shown to fail quality tests.
To create awareness on the quality issues of children products, the academy plans to do more cooperation and communication with manufacturers to help improve the quality. Free lectures and activities will be done to raise resident awareness and at the same time give them a better understanding of product safety and market supervision.
“More cooperation and communication will be used with manufacturers and stores to improve product quality,” Yang said. “We will also build connections with residents, to help them gain a better understanding of market supervision and product safety.”
