Driving Test to Add Simulated Night Driving

Driving Test to Add Simulated Night DrivingStarting July applicants taking the driving test will be required to simulate night driving by turning on their headlights and by using them correctly throughout the test.

Those who fail to turn on their headlights after turning on the engine, or caught dipping headlights while driving on roads with good lighting conditions or flash their lights when turning or going through intersections will automatically fail the exams. According to a police officer of the Shenzhen Vehicles Registration and Management administration examination section the exams is regarded to have the strictest rules in the driving examination history, with the new rules are expected to reduce the number of drivers passing the exams.

Also according to the police the night simulation test will be judged using state of the art computers. And by October, bus driver trainees will also be taking new exams that include a simulated expressway driving, emergencies and continuous curves.
