City to Experience Hot Weather Due to Incoming Storm
Temperature in the city will reach more than 35 degrees Celsius today before experiencing rainfall by Saturday. The high temperature comes from outer air streams of Doksuri, the sixth typhoon of the year.
The typhoon will be accompanied with hazy weather and regional showers. The tropical depression gain strength overnight after forming east of Manila in the Philippines Tuesday night. The depression is now about 1,620 kilometers from Shenzhen yesterday around 8 am.
Typhoon Doksuri is now moving northwest at 20 kilometers an hour and will enter South China Sea by tonight and will strengthen as it approaches Guangdong’s central and eastern coastal areas. The typhoon’s current path shows the cyclone is moving toward the Luzon Island in the Philippines with the center of the storm remains offshore to the north. The land interaction of the depression will probably hamper its development, just enough to keep it from attaining typhoon status in it life cycle.
Doksuri is still in the early stage and impact will be limited, it too early to predict the track because the subtropical pressure is still unstable. But the strength and route after it enters Sourh China Sea will definitely have an impact on Shenzhen.
