Li Qingquan Named as New President of Shenzhen University
Former executive vice president of Wuhan University Li QingQuan was recently appointed as president of Shenzhen University last Friday. Li will be replacing Zhang Bigong who served for 28 years as the university’s president and vice Party chief, retired from the positions.
Li Qingquan born in 1965 in Anhui Province, graduated from the Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping in 1988. He served as the vice president of the Technical University and later became executive vice president of Wuhan University in 2009. Li is also the leading expert in geological information systems and intellectual transportation.
Li promised to build a stronger foundation for the future development of the university in the next few years Li have also encourage more professors to open lectures for undergraduates students while launch more scientific research projects in more practical areas.
Founded in 1893, Wuhan University is one of the most beautiful universities in China and one of the county’s leading universities as well.
