More Buses Routes Added to Handle Surge of Travelers
The city’s transport commission is adding more buses on seven routes to the east side of the city to handle the surge of travelers during the holidays. The routes include five to Dapeng and to going to Dameisha will be in service starting Sunday until October 7.
The Dapeng routes will link the Longgang World Trade Center, Huangbeiling Metro Station, Xichong Tollgate and Dongchong with Xinda Terminal in Nan’ao and Yangmeiking. The Dameisha routes will link Huangbeiling Metro Station with Meilin Checkpoint. Meanwhile buses to Nan’ao will be operating between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm with returning buses running from 10 am until 11 pm. Service hours of buses to Dameisha will be extended until 1 am and Metro rail extends its services to midnight on the first three days of the holiday.
Furthermore the Shenzhen North Railway Station and the Guangzhou South Railway Station will add 13 pairs of high speed trains that links with Zhengzhou-Wuhan and Zhengzhou-Xi’an high-speed rails. Shenzhen railway Station will also be adding three pairs of trains going to Shanghai, Yueyang and Jiujiang during the holidays.
In other news people traveling between Hong Kong and cities around the Pearl River Delta can now use direct bus service from Shenzhen Futian Transport Hub. Travelers from Hong Kong can transfer at the Futian terminal and take buses to Nanhai, Shunde and Panyu in Guangdong, or take buses to Nanning, Guigan and Luizhou in Guangxi. Also mainland travelers going to Hong Kong from the PRD can also take direct buses from the Futian terminal going to the Hong Kong International Airport, Prince Edward, Tsuen Wan and Tsim Sha Tsui.
