Dameisha Beach Hits 50 Million Visitors in Four Days
As the holiday enter its fourth day, over 50 million tourists have dealt with holidays travel woes and traffic jams. As the surge of travelers flocks the roads, traffic police are encouraging drivers in all channels of communication to provide them with real time traffic information. Traffic police are telling travelers not to take the eastern scenic routes, but none the less it still attracted a large number of tourists.
In Yantian large number of people was seen lining up on trains after coming down from their originating stations and rushing to buses to take them to Damiesha. Traffic was smooth from the station but once reaching Dameisha tunnel vehicles are met with one mile traffic jams. By 11:00 am Dameisha Beach have already 30,000 in admission. Then by 2:00 pm Beach officials hung a red flag once the park limit of 50,000 was reached and circulations were broadcast to visitors and tourists to discourage people from going into the sea or standing offshore as large waves are seen to prevent any injuries or deaths. Then by 5:00 pm traffic from the city to Dameisha is returning to normal while urban bound traffic was starting to increase
Tourists traveling to Dapeng have also started to fill up the area as by 9:00 am the following day people at bus stops have started to fill up. To maintain order Dapeng station officials placed some of the city buses on existing routes as added support.
