City to Create Special Cultural Fair for Middle School Students
Students from the Shenzhen Second Senior High School in Nanshan have written a letter to Shenzhen Party Chief Wang Rong in which the students suggested the creation of a special cultural fair for all middle school students. Wang sent the letter to the city education bureau which in turn asked the Educational Science Research Institute to make plans for the said event.
Students from the school were not expecting such a quick reply from the Party Chief and Guo Yurong the city educational bureau director and they are now excited and are confident that they can make it a great event once it’s approved. In May the students have also held a charity auction for middle school student and parents just after the China International Cultural Industries Fair. The auction sold more than 86 cultural and creative products that were made by the students and raised around 279,000 yuan which was then donated to students in poor rural areas.
Students had the idea of holding a small cultural fair based on the platform of the International Cultural Industry Fair that will build a creative cultural platform for middle school students or for all students in China. A lot of students in Shenzhen are very creative, and this is one way of showing off their talents also the event is one way to introduce more cultural product and creative ideas to the outside world.
