Residents Flocked as Apple Opens its Seventh Store in Shenzhen
Apple fans and residents flocked around Apple’s first ever retail store on the southern Chinese mainland in Nanshan district in Shenzhen. The 1,000 square meter store opened last Saturday on the underground floor of the Yitian Holiday Plaza.
The shopping mall is just across Window of the World, residents can take the Luobao and SHekou Metro lines going to Window of the World then use exit C to get to the store. Visitors ranging from adult to children, Chinese and foreigners tried all the variety of apple gadgets on display from iPods, iPads and the iPhone. The store’ layout has wide glass doors and long tables with products on display a typical layout of all Apple retail stores found around the world.
Store employees will be providing lectures on how to use the Apple software on display on LED screen, regular lectures will be provided given by employees who are familiar with Apple products. Services offered by the store will be done in six languages including Japanese and English.
The Shenzhen Apple store will be the seventh retail store on the Chinese mainland, the six other stores are found in Beijing or in Shanghai.
