Local City Advisers Asking for More Ways to Connect with Residents
Lawmakers and political advisers are asking for more channels that will give them better access to the city residents’ suggestions and opinions. The city officials’ remarks were made during a call in event that was hosted by Shenzhen Evening News.
The event gave residents the chance to talk with the advisers and lawmakers which in turn said that they will bring up the issues during the fifth session of the 5th Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress and the 4th session of the 5th Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC once passing through classification. One lawmaker said that this type of activity is great and he has done a lot of research on the issues and problems that most residents encounter.
Most residents were concern mostly with their livelihood, and many of the issues involve social insurance, drug prices, salaries, noise and transportation. These problems are related to the daily lives of the people. If the government can find solutions to these problems the society will be harmonious.
Most residents hope that the city will invest more in the improvement of the resident life by letting the grass roots residents benefit from the development.
