Sectional Trains to Operate at Longgang Line to Relive Rush Hour CrowdStarting Monday the operator of the Longgang Line will be running sectional trains from Hauzxin and Tangkeng stations. The trains will be operational during weekdays from 7:15 am to 9:15 am, then at 5:45 pm to 7:45 pm in efforts to relieve the rush hour crowds on the heavily used Metro line.

Departure intervals will be decreased from 5 minutes to 3 minutes and 30 seconds. This sectional train is intended to alleviate the passengers at Buji station that have seen a surge of riders since they opening the Shenzhen East Railway Station. Passengers taking the train between Huaxin and Tangkeng stations are reminded to pay special attention to the information that are will be displayed on LED screens and broadcasts on intercoms. Passengers riding the sectional trains with destinations on either end of the stations must get off and take a different train going the appropriate direction.

The train operator is planning to purchase 33 more trains by the year 2016.
