Minsk World New Owner Allows Carrier to Remain in Shenzhen
Starting this month Minsk World will have a different owner and will allow the Minsk carrier to stay in Shenzhen at least for the moment. The theme park features a decommissioned aircraft carrier which was a popular tourist attraction.
Real estate giant Dalian Yongjia Group has acquired Shenzhen Nanyu Investment Co. the park’s previous owner earlier this month and has operated the park since then said that the carrier will stay in Shenzhen but will eventually be transferred to a different location due to some land problems.
Since the company has taken over the park it has already invested more than 1 million yuan in upgrading the carrier. As of now several parts of the carrier is open to the public and the company is planning to open eight more stories of the carrier as soon as possible. Residents are worried that the carrier will be moved out of Shenzhen since most of the company’s projects are located in northern China. But rest assured the company investment on the Mink carrier will help them expand in southern China.
Although the carrier will remain in Shenzhen the carrier might be transferred in the future as plans to build a shopping mall and park on the land on a public square that is located near the carrier.
