Road Closure to Start on Wednesday
A section of the the Huaqiangbei Road will be closed this Wednesday to give way for the construction work for the planned line 7 of the the Metro station. The section will be closed is found between Hongli Road and Shennan Boulevard.
The closure is part of a series of traffic impacts coming from Metro projects scheduled across the city for the next three years. The Shenzhen transport commission unveiled a traffic improvement plan for the affected business which is part of the city efforts that hopes to limit the affect of the closure. A two stage plan was unveiled that gave details of proposed traffic relief measures which starts Wednesday until July 2015.
The first stage will be adding three temporary bus stops at Star Plaza and the Shenzhen Experimental School on both sides of Hongli Road, then one stop on a section of Huaqiangbei Road. The M201, 317, 302 and M202 plus express buses will shift their routes to these three temporary bus stops for departures.
These buses will be diverted to Hongli Road and Huafu Road once the closure of Huaqiangbei Road. Affected routes will include 9, 216, 212, 216, N13, 317, 302, N12, M348, 41, 385, 225 and 13.
