Hospitals to Allow Sharing of Patient Examination Results to Get Better Diagnosis
Among the ten hospitals included are Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, Shenzhen’s No. 2 People’s Hospital and Shenzhen People’s Hospital. Common examinations such as CT scans, type-B ultrasonic, x-rays, tumor markers and two pairs of semi-hepatitis checks are now recognized in all participating hospitals. Also some types of mutually recognized items might be subjected for exceptions depending on the medical condition.
The director of the medical service division said that the information shared can help avoid patients undergoing repeated inspections and to get better clinic diagnosis. The director also said that doctors can independently decide to renew examinations basing on their interpretations of a patient’s health record or condition.
