This Year’s ICIF to Attract More Visitors by Lowering Ticket Prices
The China International Cultural Industries Fair Art Festival, is scheduled is hoping to attract more visitors from Shenzhen and entertainment industries overseas with its low prices and convenient location. The exhibit will be free to the public and tickets for several performances will be priced reasonably.
The city will be giving subsidies to organizations performing, along with the subsidy comes an in kind donations such as free access to performance venues. By doing so prices at the festival can be kept in a lower prices than other performances that are held in the city. There will be 34 programs featuring 52 performances, ranging from dramas, dance dramas, musicals, folk operas, plays and concerts. All performances will be done at 10 venues across the city.
Performances will include Past Stories in Huizhou a Huangmei opera satrring Huangmei master Han Zaifen, plus the drama Beauty of the Time with Chinese Actress Liu Xiaoqing. The popular South Korean opera Chunyang will also be performed during the festival. Chinese American pop singer Shunza will also have a concert together with the Chinese Italian pianist Huang Ailian.
There will be a total of 14 art exhibitions during the festival including the Tokyo TDC Exhibition. Fair organizers are expecting more than 16,000 buyers to attend in this year’s fair and there are more than 2,000 exhibitors from China have already confirmed their attendance in this year’s fair as well.
