Canton Fair Aims to Further Promote Chinese Exports
The 113th Canton Fair opened in Guangzhou with the aim of promoting Chinese exports and boost the integration of the country’s economy. Among the products displayed in this year’s fair showed more emphasis on innovation and product design.
Ranging from a transparent 3D television to a three wheeled bicycle which requires a rider to move forward by walking instead of riding the pedals like a normal bike. There were other products on display that focused more on making creative ideas, showcasing the advancement development of technology, designing the product and user experience. Compared to past sessions on of the highlights in this year’s fair was the 66 percent increase of booths occupied by design companies.
There were a total of 45 design companies from 10 countries and regions came and attended the fair, and planned a series of 21 themed activities from design forums, brand marketing, design strategies and trends. This year’s fair will also launch a competition that will help improve the design and research development level of each exhibitor and the best one will be awarded the best design for exported products.
Through time the country can enhance the competitiveness of domestic firms in terms of technological innovations, improving product quality, cultivating home brands and services.
