Shenzhen Adopts Several New Local and National Laws
Under a new law that was implemented during the May Day holiday will change the life span of private cars. The new law is one of the several new national and local laws that stated that private vehicles will no longer have its life span capped at 15 years.
Instead the car life span law will set a new higher requirement for vehicle maintenance. Vehicles that didn’t take or passed the annual inspection for three consecutive years will be scrapped based on the new law. Vehicle owners that take good care of their vehicles will be rewarded the ability to keep their cars beyond the limit of 15 years as long as it passes inspection.
Along with the new law is the law which raises those standards of criminal extortion. Previously the standard for the amount of extortion for the large category was raised from 1,000 to 3,000 yuan is now at 2,000 to 5,000 yuan. The huge extortion category merits a new standard of 10,000 to 30,000 yuan to the new one of 30,000 to 100,000 yuan.
Another national law requires all dealers to offer customers a three month guarantee for all or any repairs of electronics items that are covered or still under warranty. While Shenzhen implemented a new housing relocation law that bans forcing people out of their homes by any means illegally.
