Enterprises to Invest in High End Services in Shenzhen
Around sixteen enterprises from home and abroad is investing a total of 180 billion yuan in the high end services industries, advanced manufacturing industries and research institutes in Shenzhen for the next couple of years.
According to Invest Shenzhen an organization that promotes investments in the city, companies have already signed investment contracts with Shenzhen’s government during a business conference in Beijing that attracted more than 200 participants from 160 enterprises. Enterprises such as Dalian Wanda Group, China Everbright International Co. and China City Construction Holding Group Co. have already expressed their intentions to set up headquarters in Shenzhen. Shimao Group and CHina City Construction Holding Group Co. both international real estate companies also chose Shenzhen to be the base of their southern China headquarters and will be investing 50 million yuan over the span of five years in the high tech, finance and infrastructure industries.
Furthermore 10 more enterprises have expressed intentions to invest in the local high tech industries and research and development. The Beijing Xiaomi Technology Co. is setting up an industrial base in the city and will lead the research in new products, sales and logistics for all of its electronic products for overseas markets and in South China. Also the 15 square meter experimental zone Qianhai will be developed into a modern service pilot zone have already attracted several investors.
