City Sees Increased Demand of Serviced Office Spaces
Service office space demand is rising in Shenzhen as large numbers of new small and micro enterprises have been setting up offices as the city enacted business registration reforms. This resulted to providers of office spaces opened up and expanded their presence in the city to meet the demand by renting out large spaces then dividing them into small furnished offices.
Along with office equipment and furniture, service office providers also provide additional service from taxi services to business registrations. A marketing officer for Shenzhen based Wybgs.com a provider for serviced offices said that they have more than 30 outlets across the city which provides all inclusive services to all small and medium enterprises. The company offers furnished offices from 10 square meters to 200 square meters that is usually rented by the hour, by day or by month.
Location of such services is important since these small companies are targeting the higher end of the market. International companies along with government agencies are also inclined to rent such serviced offices. Most office space providers sign rental contracts after the buildings were completed and pay rent as low as 90 yuan a square meter, now it exceeds 200 yuan per square meter.
