Health Officials Approves Opening of More Medical Organizations

Health Officials Approves Opening of More Medical OrganizationsHealth officials have approved the opening of several more private medical organizations in the city after the introduction of simplified procedures. More than 497 private medical organizations were approved and seven new hospitals were opened in Shenzhen.

The decision help encourage development of private medical organizations around the city. It also helps them to effective in supplementing public medical resources and hopes to attract doctors from different areas in the country. Recently a regulation that allowed multi site practices were sent to provincial health departments to be reviewed. This allowed doctors at public hospitals to work at multiple sites without the approval of public hospitals, and is considered as the big step for private medical organizations.

Also based on the five year plan on medical development across the city, health officials will introduce simpler approval methods, easier access to hospitals licenses and looser policies in selecting sites. In helping the development of private medical organizations will help increase the hospital efficiency in the city and increase the medical services as well.

The health department is also planning to add more conditions such as financial and land support to further develop private medical organizations.
