Children’s Attraction Faces Shortage of Funds
The Children’s Palace youth activity center known for its advanced facilities and modern designs 10 years ago is facing a problem on how to maintain their services for children and to attract more visitors despite a shortage of funds.
Local residents brought their children to the attraction last summer expressed their disappointment as they reported unprofessional service, a basic model engine that doesn’t offer hands on activities other sees a lack of live fish at the marine center. Other was also disappointed for the lack of low content of high tech interactive activities aimed for children.
Due to a limited number of features for children most of the parents and children spent most of their time lining up for the 4D movie theater which was too crowded for them to enjoy. The attraction was constructed at a cost of 75 million yuan and covers 53,000 square meters. It was opened for the public for free and had 3 million yuan visitors every year but since then its facilities have not been upgraded.
