Silicon Valley Plays Host for Business Executives Looking for Investment Projects in the US
Last week Silicon Valley played host to 58 senior executives mostly private business owners are coming from Chinese mainland who are in town searching for projects to invest. The managing director of the Beijing RZLB Investment CO. said that students of the post EMBA program with Peking University are cautious on capital safety of overseas investment in regards with cultural and language barriers.
He also said that the US should look into ways to further promote their cities to investors from China. He also said that having different cultures and consuming habits they must understand the kinds of returns that chine investors are expecting as the plan to invest heavily. The 58 seniors have already been to New York and San Francisco and their tour will also cover Los angeles and Las Vegas.
The delegation is led by Cui Wei the assistant dean of the school of economics of Peking University and its members have already showed interest in the fields of hi-tech, biotech and energy in North California. Commercial real estate is also attracting some potential buyers as some of the delegates were checking local markets when traveling from the East Coast to the West.
