Participants of Logistics Fair Hopes to Gain New Clients and Cooperation
During the opening of the eight China International Logistics and Transportation Fair a majority of foreign participants were hoping to gain new clients and partners. Dubbed as the largest fair of its kind has attracted more than a thousand enterprises and institutions and 80,000 visitors have attended the fair that was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian.
Participants at the fair hoped to find new clients and they say that he exhibition is the perfect venue to search for clients and for potential cooperation. Some consider Europe as the second biggest market for China while Germany is for China, but others believe that Hong Kong and Shenzhen could act as gateways for trade and cooperation to Germany and other European countries as well.
The fair also shows people of the opportunities that they can get when investing in Europe and in other European cities as it brings logistics closer. Along with the exhibition are forums and discussions on topics on emerging industries such as maritime transportation, urban public transit, logistics equipment and supply chain development. Also a majority of foreign participants are saying that Shenzhen is mostly favored by logistics companies due to its proximity to Hong Kong.
Shenzhen is the second biggest logistics industry after Shanghai and has more than 14,800 logistics companies where 80 percent of the Chinese enterprises has already established their headquarters.
